JHAM 2012
Jamaican Haitian American Musicians jamming for education, is the most recently completed project for A Real PURPOSE. In October 2012, A Real PURPOSE team traveled to Jamaica and Haiti on a great collaborative, musical adventure.
Musicians from A Real PURPOSE, through a series of recording sessions with local musicians, performed classic songs and recorded new collaborations. The goal of this project was to produce another CD/DVD package that A Real PURPOSE used to generate donation funds for the RockHouse Foundation, supporting a school and library in Negril, Jamaica and the Mission of Hope, whose organization supports a school and orphanage outside Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
